Returns and exchanges are accepted on items that HAVE NOT BEEN WORN, ALTERED OR WASHED, with ALL tags attached, NO EXCEPTIONS. There are no returns or exchanges on swimwear or innerwear. Please be sure you take a look at our size specs and that you are satisfied with your order before you checkout. Check the color, size, and quantity of each item in your cart to ensure your order is as you wanted it. If for some reason you are not satisfied with an item once you have received it, we will gladly take it back within 14 days (2 weeks) of the date you received it and an exchange or a refund will be granted. The item(s) MUST be returned within 14 days (2 weeks) from the date the package was delivered to you. In some cases we may be more lenient with the 14 day (2 Week) policy in regards to EXCHANGES if extenuating circumstances apply, but we will not REFUND your money if the item(s) is not returned to us within the 14 days (2 weeks). NO EXCEPTIONS.
Shipping costs on any non-damaged or non-flawed returns will be the responsibility of the customer. Shipping charges WILL NOT be refunded. The only exceptions are in the rare cases where an incorrect item is sent or the shipping company (UPS) or Happy Thoughts delayed your order.
All items must be returned in the original conditon in which they were received. Do not cut off the label or care instructions that are sewn into the garment before you have decided to keep it. Removal of any tags that are sewn into the garment will result in a non-returnable garment. Happy Thoughts will not accept returns or exchanges for any item that has been washed in any way, dryed in a dryer, or damaged/stained in any way. This includes items that are damaged, shrunk, etc. in a dryer. Happy Thoughts always provides proper washing instructions in the product description provided and always recommends hang drying items.
CLOSE OUTS/SALE ITEMS
All sales on any items listed in our "Clearance" section and any items listed in red at a discounted or sale price are final. CLEARANCE MERCHANDISE CANNOT BE RETURNED OR EXCHANGED! NO EXCEPTIONS! This information will be noted in the description of any sale/clearance items you are purchasing. This policy is also provided on the packing slip enclosed in your package. HOW TO RETURN/EXCHANGE ITEMS
All returns or exchanges MUST have a Return Authorization Number included. Email INFO@HappyThoughts.com to receive a Return Authorization Number and instructions on how to return your item/items. VERY IMPORTANT--Any returns sent back to us without a Return Authorization number will be denied and returned to you at your own expense.
Once your package has been received, your refund will be processed in the original form of payment within 3-5 business days. Please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from Happy Thoughts.
Shopping online can sometimes be a little more difficult than shopping in a physical store. Without being able to try the garments on, it can make it difficult to determine your correct size. We do everything we can to help with this process. If you ever have any questions about the fit of a garment, please do not hesitate to ask us. We are here to help.
Having said that, if you consistently purchase large amounts of garments from us only to return most of them, a restocking fee can come in to play. Should this happen, we will warn you in writing that we reserve the right to impose a restocking fee on your next large return. Also, if you purchase 2 different sizes of the same item, only to return the one that did not fit, a restocking will most likely occur. When our return and exchange policy is abused by these practices, it hurts our business. We intentionally do not stock large quantities of items to ensure our customers that they are purchasing something special. When items are not in stock due to them being in the process of a return, it affects our sales.
The restocking fee is equal to 20% of the original price paid for every item returned. For instance, if $100 worth of a $200 order is returned to us for a refund, $80 ($100 minus the $20 restocking fee) would be refunded to the credit card on file.
If you wish to return an item and we feel a restocking fee is justified, we will inform you via e-mail before issuing a Return Authorization Number order to give you the opportunity to exchange the item(s) instead. Whether or not a restocking fee is applied is up to our discretion and may be waived depending on individual circumstances.
